A member of Ancom IT Group of Companies, Advanced Technology Studies Centre (atSC) is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and is active in Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
The evolution of technology is out pacing the growth of business and society. Disruptive technologies such as the Internet continue to shape new and better business models. While new waves of technology continuously change the way man relates to his environment, the period between waves are becoming shorter and shorter. Technological intervention in business is now a necessity, exacerbated by the divide in technological know-how that is growing.
In recognizing this, Advanced Technologies Studies Centre or atSC was incorporated in July 2002 with the mission of being a Regional Center of Excellence for the study and dissemination of knowledge, focusing in the areas of application of advanced technologies at work.
Its principal charter is to meet the growing demand for advanced technological know-how in K-economy-centered businesses, in government and in education for the advancement of business and society as a whole.
atSC’s activities are:

Creating a platform for Knowledge Exchange (KX) through organizing regional advanced-technology seminars, forums and dialogues

Training and certification services in highly specialized technology courses in collaboration with Universities, Colleges and Training Centres

Applied technologies and related studies

Technical evaluation and advisory services to corporations, venture capitalists, incubators, educational institutions and the government
atSC is backed by a panel of advisers comprising of regional thought leaders and industry captains in the fields of applied technology.
The advisory panel provides input to atSC’s vision, insight into industrial trends and into the changing nature of applied technologies at work. Panel members participate in various seminars, forums and dialogues via atSC’s Knowledge Exchange programme. They also contribute to professional and business journals, are actively involved in professional bodies and hold advisory roles in the provision of consulting services.
Cumulatively, the core staff members of atSC has an average of 20 years experience in managing applied technology, research and development, and consulting.
