OpenOffice.Org Workshop



The workshop is designed for participants to master the OpenOffice.org office suite, the most cost effective alternative to other proprietary office programs. It is aims to teach you the basics as well as the more advanced features of word processing, spreadsheet as well as the presentation and data management.

2. It works on multiple platforms.
3. It's compatible with most of the major file formats.
4. It inter-operates with Microsoft Office.

An estimated 16-million+ people have downloaded the software; many more have installed it from CDs or were passed copies by enthusiastic users. Community members produced translations in over 30 languages.

The openoffice.org consists of word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and drawing tool.


Course Audience:
This course is targeted for office users who would like to have hand-on experience alternate word processing suite.
This course also caters for users who would like to have some knowledge prior to use this non-licensing fee word processing for work or home use.

Course Length : 2 days

PC Format : Hands on Instructor led lectures and labs.

Pre-requisites :
1. Fluency in English
2. Basic knowledge of an office suite
3. Basic knowledge of using PC
